With thanks to naturally thermo-regulating qualities of Australian Merino wool, and developments in the weaving of the fibre that make it an ultra-light fabric, there’s never been a better season for suiting. We preview the offering of Australia and New Zealand’s best tailors.

The Bespoke Corner worsted wool two-piece suit; Crane Brothers button-down shirt; P. Johnson Tailors woven wool tie; stylist’s own tie pin.

Don't be fooled to think that, come summer, you should ditch wool suits in favour of linen or cotton. Wool is still the best fabric choice for suits even when the mercury begins to rise, helping keep you cool and dry in the summer heat. Merino wool is grown to be worn all year round, and its fibres are more than three times finer than the average human hair, making it one of the softest fibres to touch.

What’s more is that today’s tailors have broken the mould of conservatism when it comes to style, making this season’s range of suiting stylish for all occasions, whether perfectly put-together for spring racing or black tie events, or undone and worn with sneakers for more casual occasions. Australian Merino wool is nature’s finest, and since it’s grown on sheep year round, in rain, hail or shine, you know it has got you covered.
