Go behind the scenes at Paris Fashion Week as we uncover the highlights of the spring/summer 2020 season.
In partnership with FRANCE 24, The Woolmark Company presents the Paris Fashion Stories, filmed live backstage and from the front row of Dior, Marine Serre, Saint Laurent, Koché, Courrèges, Guy Laroche, Isabel Marant, Jacquemus, Chanel, Balmain, Yohji Yamamoto, Stella McCartney, Vivienne Westwood, Thom Browne and Louis Vuitton.
These short films unearth the inspirations of each designer to tell the story behind the key elements of the shows. From upcycled fashion, female power and resurrection after the apocalypse, these films reveal the concepts driving the creativity of the best innovators in fashion.
Of particular note, Episode 5 pays homage to the life-changing International Woolmark Prize that was awarded to the late Karl Lagerfeld at the beginning of his exceptional career in 1954.
